About Dr. Lisa Kai Klosterman
I’m grateful to be in a profession where I can blend my passion for helping people, attention to detail, and love for building relationships. Through orthodontics, I transform lives, improve well-being, and contribute to a better world. I take a holistic approach, addressing root causes beyond teeth, and prioritize educating patients to empower their own health. My goal is to create smiles that bring happiness and functional, healthy bites.
After starting my career in California with my father and brother, I moved to Austin, Texas, and later to Denver, Colorado, practicing integrative orthodontics with a focus on airway health. Now in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, I embrace the Aloha Spirit, honoring my family’s deep roots here and living with humility, respect, and kindness.

Continuing Education
As a lifelong learner, I am continually trying to stay current with not just orthodontics, but other fields to be able to better treat and help my patients.
In the Community
In both dental school and orthodontic residency, I went on mission trips to Ecuador and Mexico, respectively, to help the local underserved dental community with their dental needs. (I can speak Spanish.) I have also participated in Give Kids a Smile Day.
I volunteer at my children’s elementary school.
Outside the Office
My husband, three kids, and I love to be in and appreciate nature. We ride our bikes and scooters together to the beach, go hiking, and love to travel when we can. We also love movie nights at home with homemade popcorn!
